2009年9月25日至10月8日,第二届多彩贵州·中国原生态国际摄影大展在遵义、贵阳两座城市的多处大型广场、室内展厅同时开展,规模宏大,观众如潮。本届大展收到了来自美国、英国、法国、匈牙利、日本等41个国家和地区,以及中国内地31个省(市、区)和台湾、香港、澳门等地区共5万余幅摄影作品,经过摄影大展艺术委员会遴选,从中选择出1万余幅作品进行展示。世界各地及中国的摄影艺术家们用多样的艺术手法和独特的视角,向我们展现了不同国家和地区丰富多姿的民族文化及绚丽多样的大千世界。艺术家们用摄影作品唤起人们更多地关注和保护文化和自然的多样性,更多地关注和保护我们这个美丽的世界。
值得特别提到的是,第二届多彩贵州·中国原生态国际摄影大展得到了联合国教科文组织的大力支持,本届摄影大展的主办单位由原来的4家增加为以下5家:贵州省政府、国务院新闻办公室、国家旅游局、联合国教科文组织、中国摄影家协会。这从一个方面表明,通过我们共同的努力,有更多的组织和机构关心和支持对世界的文化多样性和自然多样性的保护,有更多的人们更加关注和保护这个美好的地球。
本届大展是一次国际摄影艺术盛会,大展艺术委员会经过认真的评选,从征集的5万余幅摄影作品中评选出民族文化、自然风光、野生动物、艺术创意、多彩贵州等5大系列以及13个类别的获奖作品。我们看到的这本获奖作品集,不仅向我们形象、艺术地表现了不同国家和地区的社会风貌、民风民俗、历史名胜和自然风光,同时展现了摄影艺术的独特魅力。本届大展除了参加竞赛作品的展示外,还设置了特邀主题作品展。来自世界各地和中国的知名摄影师和图片机构的优秀作品组成了51个主题展,充分体现出世界的视野、民族的特色以及多样的艺术风格。
大展期间,针对摄影艺术的探索与实践,文化多样性的保护等主题,还举行了摄影艺术讲座、与摄影大师对话、原生态影像论坛;组委会与《读书》、《新周刊》、《文化遗产》等媒体共同主办了“原生态文化国际论坛:价值·保护·开发”学术研讨会。本届大展以形式多样的学术活动,推进了摄影艺术的国际交流,对当前摄影界关注的一些热点问题进行了广泛、深入的研讨。
大展得到了各方面的高度关注,国务院新闻办、国家旅游局、联合国教科文组织的代表出席开幕式;美国传媒新闻摄影协会前主席埃利·布莱克曼在开幕式上做了专题演讲;德新社媒体关系部主任J.戴默(Justus Demmer)、E.德新社图片联盟CEO汤普森(Edith S.thompson)代表德新社出席活动并举办“德国风光民俗摄影展”、“德国建筑艺术与城市影像展”;原美国《国家地理》首席流程编辑、资深摄影师路易斯·马萨腾塔(O.Louis Mazzatenta)的中国文化专题作品展,英国著名人像摄影师弗格斯·格里尔(Fergus Greer)的世界名人专题作品展,中国摄影协会副主席、原中新社副总编、现任新华社副总编辑王瑶的中国戏剧专题作品展,中国野生动物摄影师奚志农的“野生动物”专题作品展,凤凰卫视中文台台长王纪言“世相”专题作品展,以及来自全球的众多主题鲜明的高水平个人作品展,在给予参观者美好的艺术享受、强烈的视觉震撼的同时,向全世界传播了关注和保护民族文化和自然多样性的思想和观念。
值得提到的是,本届摄影大展期间诞生了摄影人之歌《拍拍拍》,受到中外摄影家和摄影爱好者的广泛喜爱。该歌曲MV的视频背景由多位杰出摄影家的作品构成,展现了摄影艺术的巨大魅力,在互联网等多种媒体上广泛传播。该歌曲在2010年中国中央电视台(CCTV)春节联欢晚会黄金时段播出,全球亿万观众观看了演出,反响十分热烈。
在多方面的共同支持下,多彩贵州·中国原生态国际摄影大展构建了一个国际化、高水平、多层次的摄影艺术平台。该大展一方面积极推动世界文化多样性和自然多样性的保护,展示贵州以及中国多样的民族文化、浓郁的民族风情以及秀美的自然风光。另一方面,大展为世界不同国家和地区的艺术家们提供了一个广泛、深入地交流艺术观念、摄影技法的机会,为促进摄影艺术的发展提供了一个国际化的平台。大展组委会将一如既往,努力为全世界摄影家们提供更好的支持和服务。
让我们共同努力,以摄影独特的艺术魅力,唤起更多的人们关注对文化多样性和自然多样性的保护,让保护民族文化、保护自然生态成为全世界每个人统一的认识和共同的行动。
多彩贵州·中国原生态国际摄影大展 组织委员会主任、艺术委员会主任 谢庆生
The Second Colorful Guizhou·PhotoChina Original International Exhibition was successfully held at a number of big squares and in different exhibition halls in Zunyi and Guiyang from September 25 to October 8, 2009. It was on a large scale and was visited by a significantly large number of people. The exhibition organization committee received over 50,000 photos from 41 countries and regions such as US, UK, France, Hungary and Japan; 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the mainland China; and other regions including Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. After careful selection by the members of the exhibition art committee, more than 10,000 photos were chosen for exhibition. By employing various artistic techniques and unique perspectives, the photographers at home and abroad showed us colorful ethnic cultures and glorious natural attractions in different countries and regions. Their photos have enhanced people’s awareness of caring more about and protecting the cultural and natural diversity as well as our beautiful world.
What should be mentioned particularly is that the Second Colorful Guizhou·PhotoChina Original International Exhibition won great support from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This has made the number of sponsors of the event increase to five from four in the year before: Guizhou People’ Government, Information Office of State Council, National Tourism Administration and China Photographers Association. It is obvious that with our joint efforts, more and more organizations and departments are becoming concerned about and giving their support to the protection of cultural and natural diversity in the world; more and more people care about the beautiful world and do their best to protect it.
This exhibition is an important event of international photographic art. Based on careful and serious evaluation and selection, a group of awarded photographs were chosen out of the collected over 50,000 photos and sorted into 13 categories in 5 series: ethnic culture, natural scenery, wild animals, artistic originality and colorful Guizhou. The Collection of the Awarded Photos not only shows people vividly and artistically the social life, ethnic customs, historical sites and natural scenes in different countries and regions, but also opens up to people the unique charm of photographic art. In addition to the presentation of the participating photos in the exhibition, some specially invited photos on given themes were also exhibited. Excellent photos taken by well-known photographers and pictures agencies from home and abroad were grouped according to 51 themes, reflecting to the greatest extent the vision of the world, the special features of the nation, and various artistic styles.
During the exhibition, a series of lectures on photographing skills, talks with photography masters and forums on original photos were held based on the themes including exploring and practicing of photographic art and protecting cultural diversity. The organizing committee co-held the “International Forum on Original Culture: Value, Protection and Exploration” with the media such as Dushu, New Weekly, and Cultural Heritage. The present exhibition has stimulated the international exchange of views on the photographic art through different academic activities, and has carried out extensive and substantial discussions on a number of hot topics in the present photography circle.
The exhibition has received great attention: representatives from Information Office of State Council, National Tourism Administration and UNESCO attended the opening ceremony; Elie Berkman, former chairman of National Press Photographers Association delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony; J. Justus Demmer, Director of Media Relations of Deutsche Presse Agentur, and Edith S. Thompson, CEO of Picture Union of Deutsche Presse Agentur were present on behalf of Deutsche Presse Agentur and held “Photo Exhibition on German Landscape and Ethnic Life” and “Photo Exhibition on German Architecture and Cities”; O. Louis Mazzatenta, the former First Flow Editor of National Geography and senior photographer exhibited photos on Chinese culture; the well-known British human figures photographer Fergus Greer had his photos of world famous figures on display; Wang Yao, the vice chairman of China Photographers Association, former deputy chief-editor-general of China News Service and the present deputy chief-editor-general of Xinhua News Agency showed photographic works on Chinese drama; Xi Zhinong, Chinese photographer specializing in photographing wild animals, presented a special photo exhibition on “wild animals”; Wang Jiyan, director of the Phoenix Chinese Channel, staged a special photo exhibition on “world vision”; and many clear-themed individual photo exhibitions from different parts of the world were held. As such the exhibition has provided the viewers with wonderful artistic enjoyment and strong visual impression and informed people all over the world of the vision and views on the importance of caring about and protecting the ethnic culture and natural diversity.
What is also worth mentioning is that during the present exhibition a song named Pai-pai-pai about photographers was composed and won great favor of photographers as well as photograph-lovers home and abroad. The MV, with its visual background made up from the photos taken by the outstanding photographers, demonstrated the immense charm of photographic art. The song became instantly popular through different kinds of media and the Internet. After being performed and broadcast at the prime time of the 2010 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, it was warmly accepted and appreciated by billions of audience all over the world who watched the live-coverage performance.
Through the joint efforts of all the people concerned, Colorful Guizhou·Photo China Original International Exhibition has created an international, high-skilled, and multi-level platform for photographic art. The exhibition has, on the one hand, promoted the protection of cultural and natural diversity in an active way and demonstrated various ethnic cultures, colorful ethnic life and beautiful natural sights in Guizhou and China. On the other hand, it has provided opportunities for artists in different countries and regions to exchange extensively and substantially their views on art and their photographing techniques, creating an international platform to promote the development of photography in the world. The exhibition organizing committee will, as ever, dedicate to providing photographers all over the world with better support and service.
Let us, by exhibiting the unique charm of photographic art, call on more people to be more concerned about the protection of cultural and natural diversity in the world. Let us, by sparing no effort, make the protection of ethnic culture and natural ecology the common target and efforts shared by each individual in the world.
