伴随着国家经济实力的不断提高，文化艺术事业的快速发展，国内艺术品市场空前繁荣，当然也不乏鱼目混珠、黑白颠倒的现象出现，作为美术理论、作品推介和市场评价风向标的艺术传媒在新形势下也承担着更加重要的历史责任。我们怀着强烈的文化使命感，努力继承和弘扬中国传统优秀文化，打造一流的学术平台是我们所追求的主要目标。在办刊过程中不断的探索和提高、总结和提升，我们深知，学术质量是刊物的生命，在未来新的发展过程中，我们将继续致力于提高学术质量，以更大的努力促进当今中国画创作与研究的繁荣。
自上期我们通过对艺术家进行充分深入的挖掘报道以及个案研究以来，在读者中取得了不错的反响。对于长期从事国画创作的艺术家，以扎实的基本功底、用新的思维方式、新的审美角度来观察社会，以及运用艺术手段把这些感受呈现为感性的艺术作品，是我们最为关注和能够引起共鸣的。艺术家的创作观念来自于自身的文化积累、生命感悟、审美经验、创作实践等，这些都将促使他们更自由的抒发内心深处的个性，以更开放的胸怀，去寻找艺术的真理，并在寻找的过程中充实自己、变化自己、完善自己。如何更清楚的认识艺术语言构成、审美理想以及艺术的核心价值，是值得我们认真思考的。我们需要的是直接能触摸到艺术家内心世界的真切的艺术表达，我想本期选出的十余位艺术家能够带给我们惊喜。
传统是一潭活水，历久弥新，在中国书画领域，对传统的充分理解与研究，并付诸实践和获得熟练驾驭艺术语言的能力，艺术家的艺术探索才能走的更远，才能更接近艺术创作的本我。艺术创作是一个艰难的探索的过程，这就需要艺术家克服浮躁的心态，潜心研究，保持真诚的治艺态度，继往开来，不断进取，真诚地希望中国艺术创作步入百花齐放、百家争鸣的春天。
Arts and culture business have a rapid development with improving of the country's economic strength. The domestic art market is also unprecedented prosperity. In the new situation, art media which is the barometer as art theory, works to promote and market evaluation also assume more important historical responsibility. we are pursuing to inherit and carry forward the Chinese traditional culture and create first-class academic platform. In the course of the magazine publishing, we consider to the academic quality is the sole of publication. We will continue to work to improve academic quality and promote the creation and study of Chinese Painting with greater efforts.
We did full depth investigation and studies of artists since the last issue has praised by readers. The artists who engaged in creative painting observe society with a new way of thinking and aesthetic perspective. And they use the artistic means to express the emotional experience. We are able to resonate the most attention about their work.The creative ideas of artists come from their own cultural accumulation, life insights, aesthetic experience, creative practice, all of which will lead to more freedom to express their innermost personality. In the process of find the truth of art the artists enrich and improve themselves. How to understand clearer of artistic language constitute, aesthetic ideals and the core value ??of art is worthy of our earnest consideration. What we need is real artistic expression of the artist touch directly the inner world. More than ten artists selected shoud give us surprises.
Tradition is a treasure. In the field of Chinese painting and calligraphy, the artist need full depth understanding and research about tradition and also put it into practice to gain the ability of skillfully control the art language. From this the artistic exploration of artists can go further. The art creation is a difficult process of exploration, which requires the artist overcome the flippancy, painstaking research, maintain a sincere attitude. We sincerely hope that the Chinese art could be more colorful.
