　　网络时代曰趋改变着公众的阅读方式和节奏，深度阅读走向浅阅读，慢读转成快览，读文变为读图。当下，文字的深入浅出与图片的虽轻犹重，是摄影艺术家们正在自我考量的“平衡木”。
　　前不久，恰逢《中国审判》举办“人民法院文化建设与创新”理论研讨会，我得以同建国兄促膝长谈，并有幸欣赏到这本即将付印的摄影集，其精美的图片、优美的文字、高雅的品位，着实令我大饱眼福，惊叹不已。建国兄并非专业的摄影家，在业界，他是为数不多的留美法学博士，学贯中西，学术造诣深厚，又从崇川福地到江海门户，有着多年的院长经历，是全国法院系统内知名的专家型资深院长。在想象中，他该是措辞严谨、不苟言笑的严肃人，事实上，兼具儒雅和睿智的同时，他机敏过人，风趣十足。八小时以内，他恪守自己的职业追求，成就了一番正义事业；而职场之外，他放飞自己的浪漫情怀，天马行空地追寻着爱好与梦想。
　　读万卷书，行万里路。东西半球，南北美洲，建国到过许多国家和地区。每到一处，他都习惯性地“立此存照”。十几年来，竟然积累了数万张原片，从中细细遴选出200余张，可谓百里挑一。数目众多的摄影小品，题材丰富，都市荒原，街道巷陌，人物静物，花鸟鱼虫皆信手拈来。
　　我好奇地问他为什么摄影，答案是毫无悬念的两个字一一喜欢。热爱是最好的老师，它会驱使人们情不自禁地、持之以恒地去做心仪之事，积小胜为大成，化窃喜为狂欢。但这并不意味着漠视真正的益友良师，名人大师。新纪开元后的某一天，机缘巧合，建国得以同中国摄影家协会主席邵华女士会面。邵华是****主席的儿媳，毛岸青同志的夫人，还是毛主席的家庭摄影师。其平易近人、虚怀若谷的亮节高风，给邱建国留下极其深刻的印象。因为她与毛岸青的代表作《我们爱韶山的红杜鹃》，有人又爱把邵华写作“韶华”。韶者，美好也；华者，日月之光也。转到摄影领域，“韶华”便包含了追求光影和谐，崇尚质朴自然的寓意。从此，这二字便成为特定的文化符号，升华为建国心中的摄影审美法则。
　　这种审美深深地渗透在这册《环球佳影》中，无论构图取景的谋划，还是色彩明暗的配合，亦或是风情意蕴的流转，无不包含着对和谐之美的孜孜追求，甚至连文字也都行云流水，与图片相得益彰。而在我看来，这既是审美法则的表达，也是个人性情的流露。作为一个真实的人，建国兄不沾烟酒，不虚伪媚俗，内涵丰富，惜时如命，注重心灵深处与素质的修炼，并且以纯粹的人格魅力影响和带动着整个法院的文化氛围，从而推动法院文化建设和法官自身修养，不断构筑法律人的精神家园。
　　几十年间，我悉心拜读过的摄影集也不在少数，精致者有之，豪放者有之，粗中有细、虚实相生者亦有之，莫不殚精竭虑、精益求精，绝大多数体现了较高的专业水准，不乏精品力作。然而建国兄以其天然去雕饰的质朴之美和情动于中的真我流露独树一帜，令人内心温润而充盈。本书是一本实实在在的真正的“环球佳影”，一本值得浏览与收藏的佳作好品。文以载道，影像亦然。人生旅途，光影韶华，大象无形，大美无疆。

　　Internet is gradually changing the way we read．We no longer read deeply but shallowly，no longer slowly but fast．We pay less attention to the words but more attention to the pictures．Therefore，nowadays’photogLapherS will take extra care to strike a balance between words and photos in their books．
　　This book is a collection of Mr．Qiu Jianguo’S photographs．Qiu is not a professional photographer but an experienced judge working in Chongchuan and Haimen．He got his degree as a doctor of laws in America and has a thorough knowledge of both western and Chinese culture.
　　Someone may guess he must be a precise and severe person while in fact he has a good sense of hUm。r．During the 8 working hours every day he is a good and responsible judge but after work he immerses himself in his hobby．
　　Qiu has traveled to many countries．It has always been his habit to take photos of the place he is touring．The 200 photos are carefully selected frOm the hundred thousands photos he has taken during the past ten plus years．The photos of statues and architecture reflect his respect and revere to human’S spiritual wealth．
　　I once asked Mr．Qiu what made him a lover of photography．The answer was simply“interest”．Indeed，interest is the best teacher，who leads Qiu into the world of photography and makes him a master．But one can’t do anything merely depending on interest．Professional guidance is necessary．Someday in the new century in Beijing，Qiu met Shao Hua， president of China PhotographerS Association，daughter-in．1aw and family photographer of Chairman Mao Zedong．Though Shao Hua did not give Qiu specific photographic advice，her mild personality and respectable taste left a deep impression on Qiu．People above middle age must have read the passage titled We All Love the Red Azalea on the Mt．Shao co-written by Shao Hua and her husband Mao Anying．The Shao in Mt．Shao and Shao Hua are two homophones in Chinese，the former meaning the beauty of being simple while the latter meaning nothing but a family name．Many people would like to use the former instead of the latter to refer to Shao Hua，as a praise of her accomplishment in photography and in life as well．Qiu is one of the loyal advocates 0f this.
　　By reading this collection，I am strongly touched by Jianguo．s persistent improvement of his own spiritual and cultural accomplishment．My friend is a good man who does not smoke or drink，and who always speaks his mind even at the risk Of offending others．He cherishes every minute Of his life and spares no effort to improve his mental quality and manner．AI in all，Jianguo is the spiritual leader of our court，who is SO influential that everyone in the C0urt takes his example to improve themselves mentally and culturally．Jianguo is an enlightening example if we want to build up a good court culture．Thanks to Jianguo，we know that we have to build up a spiritual home for all those who deal with law SO that we can have a great court culture and make good use of law．
　　Due to my position，I have on my desk many photographic works by photographers from all round the countries．They are different in quality but most of them are excellent and skillful．However．none of them iS as impressive as those by Qiu，which touch people’S heart with their simplicity and spiritual significance．The beautiful words are a great bonus，too．This book，I should say，is a touching record of the world，a cultural journey of the mind and a convincing testimony of the truth： Beauty has no boundary!
