上海中国画院中青年艺术家沙龙汇聚了本地区最为优秀的中青年画家，他们正以自信的姿态
在世界艺术舞台上展现上海城市文化精神和中国当代绘画风采。

Shanghai used to be one of the first Chinese ports open to the West. Western cultures represented by the European culture influenced Mainland China here, and at the same time, Shanghai also became a modern metropolis where the East met the West.
Today’s Shanghai is trying to become an international cultural metropolis. The cultural resources of the Shanghai school linking the past and present and integrating Chinese and Western cultures
have become the most important spirit in this city’s culture.
The most excellent middle-aged and young painters in Shanghai gather at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy’s Salon for Middle-Aged and Young Artists. They are showing the spirit of Shanghai’s urban culture and the charm of China’s modern painting on the world’s art stage confidently.
