内容提要
　　2005年是中国电影一百周年。中国电影在世界电影发展中起步早、定位高、发展快，影响大，是先进文化的重要部分。在中国电影百年庆典之际建成的中国电影博物馆，不仅可展示中国电影文化的辉煌成就，促进中国电影事业的发展，也是对广大公众进行电影科普及爱国主义教育的重要场所;同时将为观众提供一个集中外电影艺术博览、电影文化教育和电影高新科技展示为一体的演绎观赏平台。
