Wulong County is situated at the intersecting fold region of Dalou Mountains in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and Wuling mountains, at Wujiang downriver, in which five mountains and 12 branches are distributed in north & south Wulong, spanning and flowing into the Wujiang River respectively.
