内容提要
苏笑柏去年底刚完成在北京今日美术馆的个人展览《考工记》，旋即投入到德国国家电视台为之举行的德国、新加坡、中国的巡回展览；孙良则刚结束在英国伦敦的展览，又将于五月下旬赴纽约参加个展；马清运则刚结束西安、台湾、北京的展览；随之又参加了本次三人行的展览。名之三人行，是因为他们都在路途中，这是第一层意思。
在艺术道路的探寻中，他们都苦苦的思索：艺术（包括建筑艺术）的本源到底是什么？从东方之韵到西方之律，如何取长补短创造出更加符合人类精神之美的作品？他们都在探索，都行进在路途上，这是第二层意思。
三人都在急匆匆的行进中，时而交叉，时而远离，时而急行，时而静思，一切都在动态之中。他们会达到一个更加光辉的顶点，这是我们的企盼。由于建筑与美术交流展览不多，我们又是首次尝试，故展出会有疏漏，会有失误，望观者谅解。

二○○九年五月一日前夕
Xiaobai Su embarked on an exhibition tour around Germany, Singapore and China held by the German National Television shortly after his exhibition Kao Gong Ji at the Today Art Museum in Beijing ended last year. Liang Sun, who just came back from his exhibition in London, the UK, will stage a solo exhibition in New York in late May; Qingyun Ma just ended his exhibition tour in Xian, Taiwan and Beijing. Now, these three busy men are here to hold the joint exhibition christened ‘Three Men Walking Together.’ The title has a dual meaning, one being that they are always walking on the road.
In their endless search for art, they ask themselves all the time: what is the origin of art (including architectural art)? What can be done to create artworks that reflect the beautiful human spirit by matching Eastern spirit with Western forms? Again echoing the title, they are always on the road exploring answers to these questions.
They all live a dynamic life. Their paths either converge or drift apart. Sometimes, they are on the move. Sometimes, they stop and think. We hope they will reach the high point in their life. Since there is not much experience with such art and architecture exhibition and this is our first-ever attempt, we sincerely ask for your understanding if there is any lapse in this exhibition.
