序 一
金秋十月，令人瞩目的“2010第五届中国•嘉兴国际漫画展”暨中法两市艺术交流活动在中国共产党诞生地——浙江嘉兴隆重开幕了。这是今年我国与世界各国的又一次重要文化艺术交流活动。
嘉兴地处长江三角洲中心，历来是经济、文化发达地区，早在六七千年前，“稻作文化”的先民们就在这里繁衍生息。近几十年发掘的大量“良诸文化遗址”和“马家浜文化遗址”出土文物、器物便是明证。明清时期，嘉兴经济文化的发展更是达到了空前繁荣的地步，例如明末项子京的藏画，数量之多、品位之高、质量之精，皆令人惊叹。同时，文艺人才也可谓“名家辈出”，从“元四家”之一吴镇到近代朱彝尊、王国维、沈曾植、蒲作英……历历可数，近现代则涌现了徐志摩、茅盾等一大批文学大家。
嘉兴是中国漫画发源地之一，是漫画大师的摇篮。在这个神奇的水乡泽国，哺育了丰子恺、张乐平、米谷、黄尧等一大批中国漫画大师，他们以毕生的努力，创作了许多漫画精品，为嘉兴创建“漫画之城”打下了坚实的基础。
自2002年起，嘉兴市已连续五届与中国美术家协会共同举办了全国性和国际性的漫画展，此展已成为一项在国内外有相当知名度和影响力的地方特色展览活动。本届活动有来自30多个国家的艺术家参展，引起了广泛的关注和良好的反响，这是政府和艺术家通力合作的辉煌成果，是嘉兴市的重要文化品牌，对提高嘉兴城市文化品味，推动嘉兴文化发展、树立嘉兴对外文化形象、增强国际间文化交流合作发挥了重要的作用，取得了喜人的成果。
嘉兴是中国共产党的诞生地之一，具有光荣的革命传统。近几年来，随着科学发展观的深入实践，嘉兴市文化大市建设的不断深入，以及对外文化交流的不断加强，文化软实力不断增强，城乡居民的精神文化生活不断丰富，其中，漫画等美术事业取得了长足的进步。
在嘉兴市委、市政府的领导和关怀下，嘉兴不断举办国际漫画展活动，把广大民众最喜欢的漫画作为地区特色来继承发展。这种雅俗共赏的艺术形式，不但促进了国际文化交流，也将为全国漫画事业的腾飞、为创造一个漫画艺术大发展、大繁荣的新时代发挥作用。
当前，国家高度重视民族动漫产业的发展。希望我国漫画工作者积极努力、开拓进取、不断创新，取得更为丰硕的成果，同时也希望嘉兴秉承漫画大师的艺术精神，积极开展文化艺术尤其是漫画艺术的国际交流，为我国和世界漫画事业的发展做出更大贡献。

In golden October, the remarkable 2010 The 5th China • Jiaxing International Comics Exhibition grandly opens in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province---the birthplace of Chinese Communist Party. This is another important cultural art exchange activity between China and the other countries all over the world this year.
Jiaxiang is located at the center of the Yangtze River Delta, has always been a developed area of economics and culture. Six or seven thousand years ago, the ancestors of “Rice Culture”lived and multiplied here. The excavation and implements of “Liangzhu Culture Relic” and “Majiabang Culture Relic”explored in recent decades are clear proofs. In Ming and Qing Dynasty, the economics and culture of Jiaxing have developed to a unprecedented stage, for instance the paintings of Xiang Zijing in late Ming Dynasty, the great number, the high grade and the excellent quality are surprising. Meantime, the art talents can be called “famous artists appear in a great number”, there emerged so many artists from Wu Zhen to Zhu Yizun, Wang Guowei, Shen Zengzhi, Pu Zuoying of recent times. In recent times there emerged a great number of writers such as Xu Zhimo and Mao Dun.
Jiaxing is the origin of Chinese comic, and is also the cradle of comic masters. This magical water town nurtured a great number of Chinese comic masters such as Feng Zikai, Zhang Leping, Mi Gu, and Huang Rao, they created many excellent comic works with efforts of their whole life, laid a solid foundation for the establishment of “City of Comic”.
Since 2002, Jiaxing has held five national and international comic Exhibitions successively with Chinese Artist Association, this comic Exhibition has become an exhibition activity with local features which is considerable popular and influential home and abroad. The participating artists are more than 30 countries in this Exhibition, causing extensive concern and good response,
which is the brilliant result of the common efforts of the government and the artists and the important culture brand of Jiaxing, plays an important role on improving the city culture taste of Jiaxing, promoting the culture development of Jiaxing, establishing the culture image of Jiaxing, and enhancing international culture exchange and cooperation, and achieves delightful results.
Jiaxing is one of the birthplaces of Chinese Communist Party with glorious revolutionary tradition. In recent years, along with the deep practice of Scientific Outlook on Development, the continuous development of culture city establishment, and the constant enhancement of foreign culture exchange, the soft culture strength has been increasingly intensified, the spiritual and cultural life of urban habitants of the city are enriched, among all the above, the comic career has achieved great progress.
Under the leadership and concern of the city committee and the city government of Jiaxing, it constantly held international comic Exhibitions, continuing and developing the comic which is popular among the extensive folks as the local feature. This kind of artistic form which suits both refined and popular tastes not only promotes the international cultural exchange but also plays a role to the development of national comic career and the creation of a new age for great development and prosperity of comic art.
Currently, the state attaches great importance on the development of national cartoon industry. We hope that our national comic artists make great effort, forge ahead, keep innovating, and achieve more abundant results, we also hope Jiaxing inherits the artistic spirit of the comic masters, actively develops international exchange on culture art especially comic art, and make greater contributions to the development of Chinese and the global comic career.

人们常说漫画是世界语，这也是国际漫画大赛长盛不衰的最好注解。确实，在国际漫画大赛胜出的那些作品，总是以出其不意的趣味性，吸引着成千上万的漫画作者的青睐。欧洲可谓国际漫画大赛的主战场。赛事之多、规模之大，都令世界漫人瞩目和向往。欧盟的所在地的比利时，就有一项国际漫画大赛已举办五十多届，可谓老资格了。而其它各国都有闻名的且各具特色的国际漫画赛事，有的被称为“漫画奥林匹克”，有的被称为“漫画诺贝尔”。可以欣慰的说，我们中国漫画家在这些所有的赛事中都拿过第一名。人们把漫画比赛称为智慧的较量。中国人的智慧是世界一流的。
中国•嘉兴国际漫画展今年是第五届。这是中国改革开放在“讽刺与幽默”领域里的集中体现。也是中国目前唯一由地方政府介入同中国美术家协会合作的国际漫画交流活动，由第一届的十几个国家的参与到至今的三十多个国家的加盟，一次次以笔会友的世界漫画大联欢，增进了彼此的了解、加深了友谊。可以说，嘉兴国际漫画大赛打开了一扇世界漫画之窗，而这正是主办者的初衷。
嘉兴是丰子恺、张乐平、米谷、黄尧的家乡，是漫画大家的摇篮。嘉兴市委、市政府坚持不懈地致力于推动我国漫画事业不断继承发展和创新发展，取得了可喜的成绩。在展现新时期漫画繁荣的同时，又走向世界，打造更广阔的漫画空间。九年的时间，五届赛事，已初步形成了嘉兴国际漫画大赛的态势。希望不久的将来，“嘉兴”这一响亮的名字在世界的漫坛上也能成为又一个漫画的代名词。

People often say that comic is international language, this is also the best explanation that international comic game keeps evergreen. It’s true that the winning works in international comic games always attract the favor of tens of thousands of authors of comic with their unexpected interestingness. Europe can be so called as the main battlefield of international comic games, the number and scale in Europe attract the eyes of the comic people in the world. Belgium, where the EU locates, has an international comic game of more than 50 periods, which can be called seniority. While in other countries there are famous and characteristic international comic games, some are called as “Comic Olympic”, some are called “Comic Nobel”. It is pleased to see that our Chinese cartoonist ever won the first prize in all these games. People call the comic game as the contest of wisdom. Chinese people have top wisdom in the world.
This year is the fifth China Jiaxing International Comics Fair. This is the concentrated reflection of Chinese reform and opening-up in the field of “Satire and Humor”and is also the only international comic exchange activity involving the local government which cooperated with the Chinese Artist Association, starting from the first comic fair which were participated by a dozen of countries to this time which were joined by more than thirty countries, the international comic get-together one time after another enhances mutual understanding and deepens friendship. Jiaxing International Comic Game opens a global comic window, so to speak, which is the original intention of the sponsor.
Jiaxing is the hometown of Feng Zikai, Zhang Leping, Mi Gu, Huang Rao, and is also the cradle of the great cartoonists. The city committee and the city government of Jiaxing persist in being engaged in promoting the Chinese comic to continue and innovatively develop, and have achieved delightful performance. Jiaxing International Comic Game not only reflects the comic prosperity of new period, but also opens to the world and creates a more extensive comic space. The five games in nine years have initially formed the tendency of Jiaxing International Comic Games. We hope the bright name “Jiaxing” can be another byword of comic in the world comic field.
