中国和平出版社是中国宋庆龄基金会所属国家级出版社，成立于1985年。20多年来，中国和平出版社继承和发扬宋庆龄国家名誉主席毕生献身人民的崇高精神，为发展少年儿童文化教育事业，培养少年儿童健康成长做出了积极贡献。
中国和平出版社主要出版各类少儿读物，年出版新书200多种，再版书300多种。同时出版《孩子天地》、《动画世界》、《中华少年》等期刊；设有中国和平音像出版社，出版音像电子读物。本社还设有北京欣欣和平图书发行有限公司以及中国和平出版社东北发行部、南京经营部、湖北发行部、成都发行部、重庆发行部等七家子公司。年销售图书码洋达1.6亿元。
中国和平出版社积极开展与海外同行业的版权合作。成功引进了美国、德国、日本、澳大利亚、英国、法国等国家的版权。同时本社的图书版权亦输出到俄罗斯、新加坡、马来西亚、日本等国家和香港、台湾地区。目前我社与海外有多项新的合作项目正在进行之中，其中与英国GE Eaglemoss 出版公司合作的《发现之旅》成为当前出版市场上新的亮点。
As one subordinate to the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, China Peace Publishing House is one state-leveled institution which was established in 1985. During the past more than 20 years,the China Peace Publishing House inherited and developed honorary president, Soong Ching Ling's lofty spirit of whole life dedication to the people, and her great contribution to the cause of youth culture and education as well as the youth healthy development.
China Peace Publishing House mainly publishes different kinds of children's books with annual 200+ new books and more than 300 kinds of republished books. Meanwhile, periodicals such as Child World, Animation World and China Youth and so on are also published. Also under the umbrella of China Peace Publishing House, there's China Peace Audio which focuses on the publishing of audio and video electronic reading materials. Plus, there're also other seven subsidiary companies. The sales volume is totally about 160 million RMB Yuan per year.
China Peace Publishing House positively develops copyright cooperation with the overseas counterparts. It has successfully introduced copyrights from United States, Germany, Japan, Australia, Britain, France and so on. Meanwhile, China Peace Publishing House also exports copyright to some countries like Russia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and areas of Hong Kong and Taiwan. At present, new cooperation projects between China Peace Publishing House and overseas partners are undergoing, among them, the Find Out More which co-published with English GE Eaglemoss company has became a new highlight in domestic book market.
